Currently the RES is composed of 13 supercomputers located in different research centres and universities.
The nodes provide a percentage of their total computational power to RES users. The total computational power is up to 12 PFlops.
The RES is a Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS) distributed throughout Spain. RES nodes are interconnected thanks to RedIris, the Spanish academic and research network, which establishes the connections and enables the transmission of enormous amounts of data.
