Applicants will typically be Master's students, PhD students or recent PhDs. The organization will pay scholarship holders accommodation and transportation expenses (the expenses regulations applicable to the BSC will be followed) up to a maximum of 500 euros per grant. To apply for the aid, the form must be completed before the deadline of July 31. Where applicable, a letter of recommendation from any of the RES member centers must be attached to the application. Applications will be assessed based on the scientific quality of the proposal. Only one application per poster submitted will be accepted. The aid will be notified to the beneficiary before August 15. The call can be accessed through the following link.

The Spanish Supercomputing Network organises the RES Awards, with the aim of recognising the work carried out by RES users in their scientific and technical activity. The RES Awards recognise:
- The RES Best Poster Award is given to the first author of the most meritorious poster presented at the Annual Users' Meeting. The work described in the poster must have been carried out using RES supercomputing resources. The award will be decided during the conference by popular vote. The winner of the award will be announced during lunch on Thursday. The winning researcher will be entitled to a travel grant to next year's Users' Conference.
- The RES Award for the Best Scientific Paper published during the last 3 years by RES users. Candidates must submit their published papers during the registration process in the section provided for this purpose. They must attach a pdf file of the paper. The RES Board will decide the winner based on the proposals of the Access Committee coordinators, who will evaluate each application on the basis of the excellence of the candidate and the work presented in the article. The work submitted must have been carried out using the supercomputing resources of the RES. The winning researcher will be invited to give an oral presentation at next year's edition of the Users' Conference. The winner will be announced during lunch on Thursday.
- The RES - HPC Award is intended to be the highest distinction in the field of supercomputing in Spain. The Prize will be awarded to a person or institution that has made an outstanding contribution to the research, development or dissemination of supercomputing in Spain. The nomination is decided by the RES Council on the basis of the accumulated merits of the person or institution throughout their career. The winning person or institution will be announced during the lunch on Thursday.
