RES AWARDS

The Spanish Supercomputing Network announces the RES Awards, with the aim of recognising the work carried out by RES users in their scientific and technical fields. The RES Awards recognise:

  • RES Best Poster Award is given to the author of the most meritorious poster presented at the RES Users Conference. The work described in the poster must have been carried out using RES supercomputing or data resources. The prize will be decided during the conference by popular vote. The winner of the award will be announced at the Closing Session. The winning researcher will be entitled to a travel grant to next year's  RES Users Conference.
  • RES Award for the Best Scientific Paper published during the last 3 years by RES users. Candidates must submit their published papers during the registration process. The RES Council will decide the winner based on the proposals of the Access Committee coordinators, who will evaluate each application on the basis of the excellence of the candidate and the work presented in the article. The work submitted must have been carried out using RES supercomputing or data resources. The winner will be announced at the Closing Session. The winning researcher will be invited to give an oral presentation at next year's RES Users Conference.
  • RES - HPC Lifetime Achievement Award. The RES Council will award this prize to a person or institution that has made an outstanding contribution to the research, development or dissemination of supercomputing in Spain. The winner will be announced during the gala dinner on Wednesday.
