LaPalma - IAC

Both the LaPalma supercomputer and the data node are located at the Centro de Astrofísica de La Palma, one of the four headquarters of the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias.

The IAC, accredited by the Spanish Government as a "Severo Ochoa Center of Excellence," is a Spanish public research organization that manages the Observatories of the Canary Islands, two of the largest international observatories in the world, located in Tenerife and La Palma.
