Last Tuesday, November 20, the Centro Tecnológico de Supercomputación de Galicia celebrated 25 years since its foundation. The President of the Galician Government, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, the President of CSIC, Rosa Menéndez López, the Mayor of Santiago, Martiño Noriega, and the new CESGA director, Mauro Fernández Dabouza, participated in the event.

RES users are in general very satisfied about the resources and services provided by the RES. The comments received have been analysed by the RES Users Committee and the RES Council to improve our supercomputing services in the future.

This catalogue is an initiative from the European Commission linked to the Digitising European Industrial Strategy, with the objective to increase industry’s competitiveness through digital technologies.

The HPC-Europa3 project provides funding for researchers working on computational science to visit HPC centres and/or scientific hosts in Europe to foster new scientific collaborations. Visitors are funded for travel and accommodation during their stay, and they are provided with an amount of computing time suitable for the approved project. Next closing date for applications is Thursday 7th September.
